Antique coffee mug with moustache guard. It is hand painted and features delicate flowers, with blue, green and pink accents adding to its elegance. A must have for the well-groomed gent because the guard on the mug's interior protects one's well-groomed moustache from the perils of latte foam, whipped cream and other unsightly beverage mishaps. Marked on the bottom made in Germany. Also numbered, not sure what it represents, could be mold and style designation.
Measures approximately 3 inches tall by 3.25 inches across the mouth of the cup (4.25 inches if you include the handle).
Excellent condition. Shows no signs of wear from age or use. No cracks, chips or repairs. The gold gilt along the rim is complete as well as on the face of the cup and handle.
